DESCRIPTION

The JGA conference is dedicated to uniting members of the French research community in Computational Geometry and related fields, including but not restricted to Geometric and Topological data analysis, Combinatorics, Computer Graphics, Discrete Geometry, Optimal Transport and Geometric Measure Theory.

The conference is particularly focused on creating an environment where young members of the research community, including doctoral and post-doctoral fellows, can present their recent results and interact with other researchers. One of the main objectives is to foster and encourage new ideas in a welcoming environment.
 

JGA 2019

This year the meeting will take place at the Hotel Les Vallées, 31 Rue Paul Claudel - 88250 La Bresse, from Sunday March 31st in the evening to Friday April 5th after lunch. 

The history of previous meetings is maintained by Olivier Devillers.

  • Erin Wolf Chambers (Saint Louis University): Topological measures of similarity
  • John Iacono (Université libre de Bruxelles): The geometry of optimal data structures and the optimality of geometric data structures
  • Micheal Rao (LIP, ENS Lyon): Part 1: The four color theorem. Part 2: Exhaustive search of all convex pentagons which tile the plane.
  • Samuel Hornus  (INRIA Nancy): To fill or not to fill the inside a 3d-printed shape
  • Sylvain Lefebvre  (INRIA Nancy): Geometry for additive manufacturing: challenges and perspectives

 

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS

You are invited to submit an abstract for an oral presentation via the Submission tab (displayed once logged-in).

REGISTRATIONS

Registration to the conference : Please register via the Conference registration tab, you will need to login and thus maybe create an account for scienceconf. Independently, dont forget to submit your oral presentation. This registration will only be used to make your badge and the list of participants. There is no conference fee but you'll have to directly pay your stay at the hotel.

Registration to the hotel : Independently from the conference registration, you must book your stay at the hotel. See details on the Hotel registration tab.
